First of all, I need to tell you a story. The black trousers you see on the pictures were bought in California on a rather spontaneous shopping trip. They are from Los Angeles, to be exact. I was walking along the beach in ankle-length jeans, dipping my feet into the Pacific Ocean for the very first time. “Ooh, what a wonderful moment for Snapchat!”, I though while took out my phone. So I walked along there, filming and bang, a wave hit me and I was wet all the way up to my knees. Live on Snapchat. That one is still my favourite video from the whole trip. After the incident, we had to shop for a pair of trousers right away – it was only 11:00 am. These trousers were a really lucky find, as it turns out. Within the last months, I have worn them more that any other pair that I own. But they are not the only new thing that I can show you today.
A little while ago, Italian-based shoe brand Fera Libens offered to send me a pair of shoes to feature on the blog. And while I scarcely accept offers like this one nowadays, I hadn’t bought any fancy shoes for a while now and craved something new in my wardrobe. Fera Libens produces its brogues and oxfords directly in Italy and uses finest Alcantara for a velvety smooth touch. The shoes are completely vegan and CO2 neutral.
Most importantly, to me, they are super comfortable and stylish. Back in the day, I used to torture myself and wear heels all day long, but now I almost exclusively wear flats. Am I getting old? :P Now that I rarely buy new shoes anymore, I am much more into an intricate design that I will (possibly) love forever. And with these shoes, it was the soft shade of pink that made them special. It’s the perfect touch of colour for my recent all black everything outfits, don’t you think?
