Today, I am super happy to present to you an outfit shot during our short visit to our Austrian hometown last weekend! Though the backdrop is very minimal to say the least, I just loved shooting there again. ♥ What I enjoyed just as much was f-i-n-a-l-l-y getting my part of the adidas Supercolor pack – the light blue adidas Superstar sneakers I have told you about last time. I enjoy comfortable sneakers super much at the moment, and can only recommend switching from girly flats to sneakers if you haven’t yet. I can’t even believe that I didn’t realize that earlier, haha.
If you’re now sitting in front of your computer thinking, “adidas? I thought she was trying to become a more responsible consumer this year!?” – you are absolutely right and my conscience nags me every time I look at them. I am not infallible, obviously, and this was a case where buying second hand (my absolute favourite activity) made no sense at all as people were selling their limited edition superstars at horrendous prices. I know changing from mindless consumer to responsibility is not going to work without fallbacks and it’s not always shiny and happy – and I am not willing to compromise style, fit or comfort. But nonetheless, you can expect a lovely alternative to conventional sneakers in my upcoming eco shopping guide!
