Wendy Nichol is one of the designers who know and love the craftsmanship that is dressmaking – a love clearly visible in every little detail of the dresses and coats from her most recent collection.
Inspired by a dollhouse she made out of leather (!), Nichol came up with the most wonderful flowy and translucent dresses, fine pleats and delicate lace, in subtle shades of ivory and black. Even though the airy dresses barely covered the models’ bodies, and there is a fine line between subtle sexuality and being cheap, the transparency only added to the graceful aura of the collection.
The icing on the cake came as genius styling with horse-riding inspired accessories, and even the setting for the lookbook couldn’t be any more perfect for the romantic theme.

I told my boyfriend I would maybe, maybe marry him if I could wear one of these designs ;) I literally love all of them, but the dress above and the first one you see when you click through are my definite favourites. What I’m not sure about, as much as I love the looks, is if I would have the guts to go out like that – would you? ♥
