The last days of your Berlin Fashion Week experience were filled with eco couture shown on Lavera Showfloor (thanks so much to Lavera for the excellent blogger treatment!).
The first collection we went to see was “La Femme Fatale” by British label FABRYAN – designed by London-based sweetheart Samantha-Jane. It was a collection of clear geometric shapes, often origami-like, sleek, minimalistic, with intricate tucks and folds, gathers in the exactly right places and expansive peplums.
A beautiful shade of burnt orange was mixed into monochrome designs in black and white, executed in velvet, leather, chiffon and silk crepe.
Female power was emphasized with extreme shapes, said peplums, form-fitting dresses, deep v-necks (love!) and mermaid-style evening gowns.
One of the crowd’s highlights was definitely the princess-style coat with degradé fur collar and matching cuffs, while my heart was beating more for the details and perfectly placed seams in the evening wear as well as the perfect mix of materials ♥
